Why register?
The advantage of registering is that by saving your details the website will do any calculations for you and give you personalised results that are saved for future reference. You must be logged in for the website to save your details but pages where you need to login to use them properly are clearly marked as you reach them.

If you choose to register and login to create a permanent record the data is securely held and can only be accessed with your username and password. You can register at any time using the links available.

If you choose not to register and login then your information is lost when you leave the computer or close your browser window and you don't receive any personalised results as you work through the site.

What data is stored?
Your username (email address) and password are stored along with any data that you choose to save to the programme such as your future retirement goal, your current income and your expenditure. Personal details such as your name, age or address are not required and are not stored anywhere within the database.

Why is my username my personal email address?
By using your email address as your username, you do not need to remember an additional username. If you should forget your password, you can have it reset by visiting the forgotten your password page.

The email address you provide will only be used to contact you regarding the Working Money website. It will not be passed on to any third party.

Does it matter what password I choose?
We recommend that you do not select an obvious user password (such as your name) and that you change it regularly.

What if someone else knows my username and password?
It is always good practise to keep usernames and passwords personal. If someone else logs in with your details then you may find that changes they make do not help you get the most out of Working Money. However you do not need to inform us if you believe someone else knows your Working Money details. If you wish to change your password you can have it reset by visiting the reset my password page.
