Think about how your money is working for you at the moment. Do you have a rough idea whether you make it through to the end of the month without going overdrawn?

Is it like this most of the time? Or instead, are you reaching your overdraft limit half-way through the month – or are you staying 'in the black' all the way to your next pay day?

usually go overdrawn soon after you get paid

usually manage to avoid going overdrawn
occasionally manage to save some money or have some spare money

Whether you have enough money at the moment will help you to think about how much you might need in your retirement. Remember, the amount of money you might want to have is probably different from the amount you simply need to buy food, pay the bills and keep a roof over your head.
