Having looked at the basics of your retirement income, the In depth section looks at what happens to the rest of your money and other financial interests over the long term. You might not want to work through all of the pages at once, but even a quick read should help you think about what influences your wealth and how your wealth might change over time. As with the Standard pages, it’s up to you whether you use your own target retirement age or you simply use age 65.
We start with a look at changes in prices and how they affect money in bank and building society accounts. There are also pages about what might happen to investments such as property and shares over many years. All of this information helps build up a detailed picture of what your overall wealth might be in the future.
