What does where you are now tell us?
The fact find that you did for Step 02 tells us some important things:
- your living costs at the moment; and
- whether you have any spare money each month at the moment.
If you worked through the In depth section you have also found out your overall wealth at the moment.
What this doesn’t tell you is what your living costs will be when you retire or what your other finances might look like. You need to look at these areas too if you want to find out whether you are on target to meet your goal.
